The English Government's Department for Digital Media, Culture and Sport has just declared a new rule that all Government and civic buildings within the "UK" are to fly the "Union Rag" every day of the year from now on. But, of course, we are Cymry who only consider ourselves to be Cymric citizens loyal to our Cymric nation and although our nation may still be 'occupied' by the so called "UK", we will never stand by and allow this 'order' to be observed in Cymru will we? O no, the English Government and their Department for Digital Media, Culture and Sport can shove their 'Union Rags', (and 'Tudor Rags' whilst at it) right up to where the sun don't shine because, as CYMRY, we will only, ever, be loyal to one flag and that is the Four Lions Rampant banner of Tywysog Owain Glyndŵr, our last true warrior Prince and the only flag that ever did, and that can ever stand for a Sovereign Independent Cymru.

And for those who are still conditioned and fooled into believing that the 'Tudor rag' is our national flag, TIME FOR A WAKE UP CALL! The article I've written and which you can access via the following link will give you the 'true' history of the 'Tudor rag' and will make clear how and why it was 'restored' and 'given' to us by the Queen of England in 1959.

Please read, become enlightened and become confident enough to shake off this shackle and symbolism of your servitude to the English crown because whilst we embrace such shackles, sovereign independence will never be achieved.

And how's about this for a laugh, In their statement released on the 24th March, the The English Government's Department for Digital Media, Culture and Sport declare that...

"Our nation’s flag is a symbol of liberty, unity and freedom that creates a shared sense of civic pride. People rightly expect to see the Union Flag flying high on civic and Government buildings up and down the country, as a sign of our local and national identity.

That’s why I am calling on all local councils to fly the Union Flag on their buildings – and today’s guidance will enable them to do that. We’ve also cut red tape, allowing councils to also fly their county flag at the same time.

The Government has also cut red tape to allow dual flagging – where two flags can be flown on one pole. Where organisations have two flag poles, they can fly the Union flag alongside another flag. This will allow organisations to highlight their local identity alongside their national identities, for example by flying a Middlesex county flag alongside the Union flag in London, or the Saltire alongside the Union flag in Scotland. Other flags may also be flown on non-designated days including a Saint’s Day or county day"

So, there you are, the English Government are "so kind" that they are going to allow us 'serfs' to fly 'county' flags so long as its always alongside a 'Union rag so, they are, in effect, confidently stating that we are NOT a nation but a county in their U.K.!

There are two options open now for those of us as Cymry now. We can 'stay on our knees' whilst the English Government re-enstates their right to rule over us by carpeting Cymru in 'Union rags' or, we can... 'get off our knees' and clearly state our defiance and our nationhood by carpeting Cymru in our true Independence flag...baner Owain Glyndŵr.

As you will see if you look back at past posts on this blog and our other Glyndŵr associated blogs such as Galwad Glyndŵr, Teyrnas Glyndŵr, Senedd Glyndŵr etc, we have educated as to the importance of flying our 'true' national flag for the last 22 yrs and have encouraged the carpeting of Cymru with this flag throughout the year, every year since then and especially on those occasions when the English royals are on tour as a show of defiance. Many are now recognising the Owain Glyndŵr flag as our 'true' national flag and it is flown by many throughout Cymru but, following the latest insulting demand posed by the English Government, the time has come to declare loud and clear that we are not servile serfs that they can dictate to, and the only flag that they will see flying high in Cymru is our 'true' national flag, not the 'Union Rag' or the 'Tudor Rag' they saw fit to present us with in 1959, in preparation for the Investiture of another usurper English 'prince of Wales', but the flag of our 'true' last Prince and warrior leader, Owain Glyndŵr! So, from today onwards, let's begin the process of carpeting all of Cymru with our 'true' national flag.

Also, let's continue the road to Independence and our freedom by continuing to post these stickers below on every available suitable free space in Cymru, let's leave no doubt as to who we are and as to where our loyalty lies.
